What makes a business “faith-centered”?
We invite businesses that strive to operate with integrity, honesty, and excellence, guided by their faith and values. While every business is unique, our focus is on connecting families with providers who share a commitment to values-based service.
How are businesses vetted?
All paid listings include the option of a complimentary background check so businesses can be vetted and verified. In addition, our team reviews each listing for online presence, customer feedback, and alignment with our community values. Every review is done by a real person, not just an algorithm.
Is there a cost to use the directory?
The directory is completely free for families to use. Businesses can choose a free basic listing or upgrade to a paid listing with expanded features and optional vetting.
What if I don’t see a provider in my area?
We’re growing! New providers are added weekly. Please contact us for any recommendations. You can also recommend a trusted business.
Can I leave a review for a business?
Yes. After you’ve hired someone through HireThyNeighbor, you’ll be invited to leave feedback to help others make informed decisions.
